CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
What is a Film Director ultimately looking for? How well under control are your movements in a tight shot? Do you deliver effective emotional intensity in an ECU (extreme close-up)? Knowing the answers to these questions can greatly affect your success as a film/tv actor. This on-camera, no non-sense acting and audition technique is geared specifically for film & tv. You will see what works, what doesn't and why.

You will also see how after reviewing your scene just once, you will be able to pull off a powerful film read.
Our studio offers on-camera acting and audition techniques geared specifically for Film & Television. Set in a very supportive environment, with a strong emphasis on individual student attention,
you will master the art of Scene Study, On-Camera Acting, Confident Cold Reading, and Power Auditioning.

Cold Reading & Line Lifting Technique
Scenes are assigned on a weekly basis by the instructor. The Process empowers the actor with a technique in Line Lifting and Cold Reading that equips them with supreme confidence and consistency in the auditioning process.
Scene Study
The instructor will choose a scene to be prepared by the actors and then performed the following week. The scene will then be work-shopped allowing for a deeper and more thorough understanding of the scene and the instrument (the actor).

Creative Scenes
This is an ongoing assignment that challenges the actor in numerous ways providing a fantastic opportunity for growth...you'll have to see it to fully understand.
